camp

 Camp

How i feel about camp

Camp feels like it would feel a bit nervous on the first day because i have never been to camp before. But it can feel confident and happy on the second or third day.

How camp sounds like

Camp sounds like soft or crashing waves by the beach, also the rocks when you step  on them. Zipping noises because we can hear the kids zipping and unzipping their jumpers and jackets.

How camp looks likes

Camp looks fun by its activities, it has cabins with bunk beds, a BMX track and a swimming pool. You can do lots of fun stuff with it.

How Whales Climate Change?

 How Whales Climate change?

Whales climate change by eating plankton from the photic zone and collecting carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

How does it work?

Firstly the whales eat fish and krill to keep the whales alive, then people would kill for tons of seafood. Less whales, less fish and krill. But if we don’t kill whales, we would have lots of seafood saved for the future.

What I think we should do:

We should not kill/hurt whales unless it's out of stock, if it’s out of stock we will only kill at least 2 whales, because 2 whales produce a lot of seafood for us.

writing - dawn raids

 Dawn raids

What is a dawn raid? A dawn raid refers to the practice of buying up a large amount of shares right at the open of the day's trading. The goal is to amass a large number of shares in a target company by one company to influence a potential takeover of the target. But what caused the dawn raids? Dawn raids were a common event in Auckland, New Zealand, during a crackdown on illegal overstayers from the Pacific Islands from the mid-1970s to the early 1980s. It all happened in 1973 by narmons kirks labour government and were continued by rob muldoon's national government. The dawn raids began in 1974 when the Labour government, faced with an economic downturn, clamped down on people overstaying their working visas. Samoans and Tongans were welcomed into New Zealand with open arms in the 1950s and 60s to relieve a huge labour shortage. They were the main targets. Why did the polynesian panthers form? In the 1950s thousands of pacific islanders came to new zealand to meet the labour shortage.

why we should grow our own food

We should grow our own food so we don't have to waste money and we don't have to go to the market. But it does have to grow for weeks. But it's still worthy because at market you never know what it might have inside the veggies like something harmful. So this is why we should grow our own food!

Stay safe!

why pyshical shopping is better than online shopping?

Why is physical shopping better than online shopping?

Hi my name is diya and i will be persuading you why physical shopping is better than online shopping. Physical shopping is better than online shopping because if you shop online it could be a scam and you can waste all your money. Physical shopping is better because you can look at the products up close and see all the facts of the product and online you can't see the facts so then if you don't know what it is you can't buy it. The food you buy online may have something harmful in the food when you eat.

cross country

Crosscountry

Crosscountry was my worst fear. I hated cross country. The first thing we did was sit on the concrete and wait. After that the teachers said what order we are going in and what our course was. The year 1 girls went first they had to do 2 laps i think which made me jealous cause the seniors had to do 3 to 4 laps. Mr Teztlaf would clap this wood piece and the year 1 girls would start running. We would be cheering for them and so the parents did too. Me and my friends would cheer for my sister Jinal and other year 1 girls. After the year 1 girls did 2 laps the year 2 boys would do 2 laps. Mr Teztlaf clapped the wood piece and the year 1 boys would start running. I didn't know who to cheer so I cheered for everyone running. I started getting bored while cheering so I asked my friend April and Talia to play the old man and I won. After like 1 round I started cheering again. I just realized that the year 3 girls already started! I must’ve done more than 1 round of old man dies! The year 3 girls already finished so the year 3 boys went and started sprinting off. I was too bored to cheer so me and Lily battled each other in chopsticks. I won once and Lily won twice. But the game was way too long so the year 3 boys already finished and the year 4 girls were already on their 2 lap which they had to do three or 4 laps i think? After that I started cheering again! The year 4 boys started racing each other and they were passing the girls. The year 4 girls finished and so did the year 4 boys did too. After that was the year 5 girls and i was really, really nervous because its gonna nearly gonna be year 6 girls. After the year 5 girls it was the year 5 boys Mrs Teztlaf again clapped the wood piece. He clapped it then the year 5 boys started running off. Around the cones

inside the market

Inside the market.

the market looks crowded with people, colourful food, the light flashes bright to dull. little tents hanged up, spices being ceated.

the market sounds like people talking music play the volume goes up and down. the market feels cold by the freezers and hot by the deli section. smmoth on the veges and friut. the floor is slippery and sqeaky people cutting up food making food out of it.

Why We Should Eat Healthy

Why we should eat healthy
Hi my name is diya and i will be persuading you why we should eat healthy. Why is eating healthy better? Eating healthy is better because the nutrition in the food makes you feel well. And you will have less chance of having diseases. It's good having a healthy lifestyle. It makes you feel great. How much fat food do we have to eat? My opinion of how fast food is eaten is once or twice a month. I think it’s good having it once or twice a month. Other people think it's good having it once a week that can make you sick and tired. Only 36.6 people eat fast food and 64.4 eat healthy. See how you can eat healthy, see how you can feel well.
